Tips for Optimised Building
- Be mindful of the height limit for smaller parcels
- Recompile scripts when you rez them (not the same as resetting)
- Land Impact count isn't accurate in ubODE, especially for mesh, the size and complexity can affect the LI number. Ask us more about this if you have questions.
- All moving objects need to be phantom
- If you have scripts that can be removed after setup like rotating scripts, gifs, animesh etc... please remove them. If the script has to stay, like many do, that's fine.
- Please don't block the sidewalks
- We have noticed some flickering from a distance, this happens when two prims are too close together. Not only is it unattractive it also causes extra work for the server as it doesn’t know which prim to render and it goes back and forth between the two. If you need help fixing it let us know and we can guide you.
